Children's Consignment Store
P.A.L. Mission was blessed to have received a grant from UPS in
the fall of 2007 to open Bearly Worn, a Children's Consignment Store.
This store serves many purposes:
It's an environment where the residents of the Tuscarawas PAL House
learn the necessary job-training skills which result in successful obtainment
of employment. It also provides job-training opportunities for community
partners such as Goodwill Industries, the Domestic Violence Shelter
and a private Developmental Disability program.
It creates an awareness about P.A.L. Mission and its purpose in
the community, while generating income to help fund the P.A.L.
Houses in Tuscarawas and Stark Counties.
It meets a need in our community to provide quality children’s
clothing at low prices while also providing an income to our consignors.
And the store also serves to prevent additional waste ending up in the
landfills by the resale of children's clothing.
