The Canton PAL House is the original site of the program. The program is licensed to provide housing to teen girls and young adult women, ages 16 - 18. The program consists of a graduated three phase process which results in the transition to a semi-independent living apartment.

Tuscarawas County PAL House has been in operation since November 2004. Responding to a need of the local child welfare agency, the adolescent girls group home provides life skills training, education and career development to teen girls in foster care.

Genesis Program is a scattered site apartment program for homeless young women between the ages of 18 and 25 in Stark County. The program is funded by a grant from the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development(HUD) and supports approximately 6 young women at any given time. Program participants must engage in life skills curriculum, maintain employment and meet established guidelines to qualify for the program.

G.I.F.T. (Going Into Final Transition) Apartment Program Provides both male and female foster youth an opportunity to experience apartment living on their own while still remaining in the custody of the child welfare agency responsible for their care. The program allows them a chance to use the multitude of life skills they've learned while in the PAL House program (females) or the Job and Family Services-sponsored life skills curriculum (males) to show they are capable of living independently in an apartment PRIOR to exiting from foster care.

Bearly Worn is a children's clothing consignment shop located in New Philadelphia. Funded through an Allocation Grant from the UPS Foundation, the store serves as a job skills training site for adolescent girls place in the Tuscarawas PAL House.
The P.A.L. Mission program was incorporated in December 1996 as a private, non-profit, faith-based organization to provide housing, life skills training and a myriad of support services to young women who had 'aged out' of the foster care system and were not prepared to live independently. The
original one-site program, fondly referred to as the PAL House, has evolved into an umbrella agency which operates four different programs, all of which provide housing and life skills training to teens
and homeless young adults. The participants of all of our programs must be employed and be
attending an educational program, if they have not yet graduated from high school.

The two PAL House programs are licensed by the Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services as an "independent living arrangement".
